Kai Havertz Agrees to Move to Arsenal, Will Have a Medical Test This Weekend

According to the latest media reports, Arsenal have reached an agreement with Chelsea management to pay Havertz a transfer fee of £60-65 million.

With the transfer officially agreed, the player will undergo a medical with the club this weekend. Meanwhile, Arsenal and the player have reached a personal agreement on salary and contract term since last week, meaning Havertz will be the Gunners' first new player this summer and will be part of Mikel Arteta's squad next season.

Since leaving Leverkusen to join Chelsea three years ago, Havertz has been looking to rediscover his best form in the Bundesliga, but has never been able to give the Stamford Bridge fans what he did in his prime. Last season he made 35 appearances in the Premier League and scored a less than expected seven goals, while in his three years with the Blues he scored only 32 goals in 139 games.
