Fenerbahce want to sign Ansu Fati from Barcelona on loan in January
Ansu Fati has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce ahead of the January transfer window.
Diario AS are reporting that Mourinho actually wants Ansu Fati and Sergio Reguilón this winter and tried to sign the Barca star last summer.
Ansu couldn’t be swayed then but it remains to be seen if he may change his mind after finding game time hard to come by so far under Hansi Flick.
Fenerbahce are expected to get in touch with Ansu’s agent in the coming weeks, with the report curiously saying the club have “total confidence” about landing the forward.
Fati has made only three substitute appearances so far this season but did miss the start of the campaign through injury.
Hansi Flick is being tipped to hand Fati a first start of the season against Sevilla on Sunday and has regularly talked up the youngster since arriving as Barca boss.
