AC Milan Official: Verona Defender Filippo Terlachiano Joins

Official announcement: AC Milan has officially signed defender Filippo Terlachiano from Verona. He will wear the number 38 jersey for Milan.

 

AC Milan is pleased to announce that the club has acquired Filippo Terlachiano from Verona, with the Italian defender signing a contract with the club until June 30, 2028.

Born on February 8, 2003, in Verona, Filippo Terlachiano developed through the youth academy of his hometown club, Verona, making his first-team debut in the Italian Cup match against Empoli on December 15, 2021. Shortly after, he made his Serie A debut in a 1-1 draw against Empoli on March 20, 2022. Since then, he has made a total of 39 appearances in Serie A, including 18 in the current season. On November 19, 2022, he made his debut for the U21 national team in a friendly against Germany.



After completing the signing with the club, Filippo Terlachiano will wear the number 38 jersey for AC Milan.

According to reports from several Milan-based journalists, Milan will pay a fixed transfer fee of 4 million euros and a variable bonus of 1 million euros to secure Filippo Terlachiano. Verona will also be entitled to a 10% sell-on clause in any future transfer.
