On July 17th, just hours before Messi's unveiling ceremony, Inter Miami officially announced the signing of former Barcelona midfielder Busquets. The contract is signed until 2025, and he will reunite with Messi at the club.
After his contract with Barcelona expired this summer, Busquets chose not to renew it and left the club as a free agent. Additionally, this season, he also retired from the Spanish national team, ending his 14-year international career.
